Matthew 11:28 -29

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest”. Some might erroneously assume that this refers to the after-life. Some might also be led to believe he meant that after you become a Christian life will somehow become easier. It is more correctly stated that God will give us the strength to deal. He will give us the strength to endure circumstances that others might seem unbearable.

He also allows us to put our current troubles into perspective. 1 Corinthians 10:13 reminds us that none of our problems catch God off guard. In fact when we compare those circumstances to power of being who created galaxies they don’t seem that big at all. If we can learn to trust God and praise him no matter our circumstances we have a new perspective on life and trivial concerns are seeen as just that, trivial.
